Tennessee Department of Children’s Services Central Intake Child Abuse Hotline

Under state law, anyone suspecting child abuse, including medical personnel, family members, and friends, must report it.  Failure to report child abuse or neglect violates state law.

The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline

The hotline has professional crisis counselors available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, who offer crisis intervention, referrals, and other support needs. All calls are anonymous and confidential.

The Nashville Children’s Alliance works with the Department of Children’s Services, Metro Police, and District Attorney General to provide services to children who are victims of abuse.

Prevent Child Abuse America (PCA America)

PCA America works to raise awareness and engage communities in the effort to prevent child abuse.  TN’s chapter, PCAT, manages the Parent Helpline and TN’s Domestic Violence Hotline.
